Hi, Iām Lucy
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. Working relationally, my approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity and respect, recognising the therapeutic relationship as fundamental in establishing a sense of safety, trust and care. My credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Counselling at York St John University. I am also continuing my professional development through training towards a Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People at Wellspring Therapy and Training Centre. Through my training and experience as a 111 mental health call handler, I have a deep appreciation for the importance of human connection and being genuinely heard during challenging and vulnerable moments. Beginning counselling can feel like a big step, I aim to meet you where you are and journey with you towards wholeness, self-understanding and healing in a way that is meaingful to you.
